A 6.30 minutes long video-loop. On the video we see a couple lying in bed, talking and smoking a cigarette together. Because the video doesn’t contain sound the impression is raised that we are ‘voyeurs’, as if we glance through a window. At first sight we seem to watch an intimate and peaceful situation. But at second glance we get the impression something is not right and feels very uncomfortable.

A very carefully watching spectator might discover that the lives of these two people are completely turned over.

This video is preferably shown as a work on its own, for instance as a projection on a block, freestanding in a space.

The title of the work refers to the legendary ‘bed-in’ performances for peace of John Lennon and Yoko Ono (in the Hilton Hotel of Amsterdam, 1969).
