A labyrinth differs from a maze in the sense that one can’t get lost in it. The path is a singular but slow route to the centre and back. For some it represents our walk of life, just like pilgrimage. My wife and I did a pilgrimage some years ago and decided that we wanted to share our lives together after that.

We collaborated on making a labyrinth in the garden of a residential house in Tilburg where we participated in an art-exhibition. The path led past nature, human-made structures, waste and industrial products.
