A sketchbook full of drawings and notes that I made when I was working and test-driving my sailing-boat (see “Changing Tack” project). It contains a lot ideas about improvements to be implemented.
Unfortunately my boat sunk on one of my trips while testing it and while I was making notes. I barely managed to save my sketchbook out of the water. It was heavily damaged and stained by moisture.
I had to dry, iron and rework most the pages of it and rebound it all again.
Hence the title: “Castaway”
